Men's 1XI end of Season bulletin
The 1XI assured
themselves of division 1 hockey for another year after
staving off relegation with a 5-3 win over Witham.
Captain Amjid Ali spoke of his relief on what has been a
challenging and difficult season as they were playing at
new heights this season against some tough opposition.
Men's 2XI end of Season bulletin
29th March
2007:
Congratulations to the
2XI who gained promotion from
East
Division 6 (Southwest). They guaranteed promotion with a
4-2 win over Southgate Adelaide 2 in an ill tempered
match.
Some dubious umpiring and over zealous challenges from
Southgate Adelaide
tried to undermine a resolute performance from Vauxhall.
They will be joined in Division 5SW by Potters Bar and
West Herts 4XI.

Mens 1XI East Men's League Division 2 (South) Champions
Congratulations
to the Men's 1XI who are the title winners in
East
Region Division 2 (South). They sealed the title and
promotion with a 9-0 win over Stevenage
Men's 1XI on
Saturday 17th March 2007. This meant that the teams in
second and third (Shefford & Sandy, Letchworth) can now
not catch us. Shefford & Sandy are also promoted as
they secured second place with a 4-4 draw with Ford.
Both the Men's 1XI and Shefford & Sandy will tussle it
out in
East Men's League Division

Mens 2XI East Men's League Division 7 (Southwest) Champions
Congratulations
to the 2XI who are the title winners in
East
Region Division 7 (Southwest). They sealed the title and
promotion with a 5-1 win over Royston 3XI on 31st March
2007.
Stevenage follow Vauxhall into Division 6SW.
like the 1XI, the seconds left it late to become
champions but deserve it thoroughly as they have played
like champions throughout the season. Bring on next
season.
